FUN AND RELAXING ACTIVITIES
BARBEQUE & BOAT CRUISE
Be picked-up at reception to board a Turkish wooden boat – departing from Ölüdeniz every morning. We assure you will have a day you will never forget. Swim at “Cold Water Bay” where fresh spring water seeps into the sea and makes the surface water cold while underneath it’s warm (now how can that happen?), or explore the mysterious ruins on St Nicholas Island: a climb to the top offers stunning views and countless photo opportunities.
Alternatively, book a 12 Islands boat trip departing from Fethiye every morning.
A BBQ lunch is served onboard and full bar service is available.
Plenty of opportunities to explore, swim, snorkel or generally relax in the Mediterranean sun.
TURKISH BARBECUE EVENING
We are always delighted to share our Turkish culture with our guests. On occasion during the season we have a Turkish Barbeque evening, which gives us the opportunity to introduce our guests to the delights of Turkey’s wonderful cuisine. On these nights diners can feast on a banquet of mezes (starters) and indulge in a selection of chicken, beef, lamb, mixed kebabs and spicy meatballs, all cooked on our traditional Anatolian barbeque.
After dinner the entertainment begins! Our traditional Folk Dancing Group and our Belly Dancer will show off their talents and if they like our guests can join in; in fact audience participation is positively encouraged!
Books are essential to avoid disappointment.
DALYAN RIVER CRUISE
This trip is a real favourite with our guests. See the beautiful scenery and wildlife while cruising on the Dalyan River (filming site of African Queen), pass by the spectacular Caunos Rock Tombs, and then enjoy an invigorating mud bath with thermal spa. A leisurely lunch in a shady riverside restaurant is followed by a visit to famous Iztuzu Beach, breeding ground of Caretta Caretta (Loggerhead Turtles) and the centre of DEKAMER, one of Turkey’s first centres for the protection and rehabilitation of this endangered species.
This is a fun day out for all ages.
Enjoy a late afternoon stroll through Kaya Ghost Village, the inspiration for Louis de Bernières ‘Birds Without Wings’ and with an evocative and intriguing history. Trek through historic ruins and scented pine forests, or be guided along shady mountain tracks to the stunning Blue Lagoon of Ölüdeniz. Enjoy spectacular sea views and cool breezes whilst experiencing some of Turkey’s most beautiful countryside.
TREKKING & WALKING
Situated at the beginning of the Lycian Way, Oludeniz offers great walking for all seasons. The beginning and end of the season are particularly popular due to the cooler, sunny days.Deserted tracks and bays await you; even visits to popular summertime sites will find you undisturbed. Natural beauty harmonizes with historical manmade sites, affording many unbelievable photo opportunities.
Visit our trekking company’s website at: for some great programs.
In addition to our two swimming pools the hotel has a gym, ideal for limbering up for the next walk.

An action packed day of adventure. Professional guides and drivers lead a jeep convoy expedition off the beaten track to discover the real Turkey! Includes Patara Beach, Saklıkent and mud baths.
Sea Breeze is in a dream location with the world famous centre for the sensational sport of paragliding on our doorstep. Ölüdeniz, with the majestic Babadağ soaring behind, plays host to the International Aviation Games Festival each October.
From the 1,800 metre take off point on the summit of Babadağ mountain there are invariably good weather conditions and the sea breezes and superb thermals will give you the tandem flying experience of a lifetime as well as spectacular views over Ölüdeniz Beach and beyond!
A fantastic way to see more of the real Turkey – discover it on horseback. Ride through shady olive groves and ancient sites; trek along mountain tracks and country fields… an experience you’ll never forget.
Half-day trips operate daily and cater to all levels.
The Dalaman River is the one of the best rivers in Southern Turkey for rafting with genuine, exhilarating grade four rapids. Dalaman Upper River, which courses through a scenic gorge, is laced with Class I-III rapids that offer easy to moderate summer whitewater – but still plenty of excitement.
Scuba diving is fun and easy, requiring no previous experience. In just one day you can feed fish, stroke an octopus and explore crystal clear waters. The Mediterranean with its warm, non-tidal seas make this area ideal for both new and more experienced divers.
No experience necessary & non-divers welcome.
CULTURAL AND HISTORIC SITES
In this area we are really fortunate to have a wealth of historic sites within easy reach and some right here on our doorstep. The incredible cities of Lycia are well worth a visit and Kayaköy, Cadianda, Pınara, Oenianda, Patara, Letoon, Xanthos and Tlos can be easily visited within a day.
A few are a bit farther afield. These include:
Ephesus remains one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world, allowing you to experience what life might have been like more than 2000 years ago. Visit The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, theatres, libraries, markets and countless statues in near-perfect condition.
Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), is truly a natural wonder and was formed when thermal springs containing calcium salts created natural pools. This majestic range of white calcium terraces with surrounding thermal pools is believed to have remedial properties for which the ancient city of Hierapolis was built to benefit from. Visit the well preserved amphitheatre and necropolis.
2 Day Trips to Ephesus and Pamukkale run weekly from Fethiye.
Saklıkent Gorge is a must, with the cliffs towering 300 metres above you head and the river pouring out from the 18 km long canyon, it was formed over thousands of years by water erosion: the power of the river cutting an awe inspiring natural canyon through the limestone mountains.
Saklıkent is an ever-popular day trip with our guests and with the many riverside restaurants serving delicious fresh trout and traditional Turkish fare it is a great way to see a different side to Turkey.
